What is Benevohunt?
The Brief: You want to arrange a team away day which reconnects and motivates them, all whilst having fun and developing core team skills. It would be great to be outside, explore a town or city and give back to charity!
The Solution: Benevohunt. We’ve levelled up the standard GPS treasure hunt and added a philanthropic twist. This app-based team challenge will bring out your team’s competitive nature as points really do mean prizes.
The Outcome: A connected and strengthened team. Care Packages for your local charity and community! A real, tangible event legacy.
What Happens at a Benevohunt?
Briefing: An o3e Team Leader will host the session and kick-off Benevohunt with a briefing. This will include getting the group into teams, downloading the app, instructions, health & safety, and of course the presentation from the charity receiving the donations.
We Get It Done: Each team has a different route around the trail, so each team will head off in a different direction. The app will guide them and help us keep tabs on where they are.
The Trail: The app will lead a team through an interesting and educational journey of the area close to your event location. As they approach landmarks, they will have to complete challenges either on the app or live. The app records their answer and captures action through photos or videos.
Crypto Charity – oZone: Successful completion of a challenge will result in the accumulation of oZone Crypto Coins. Unsuccessful? The team will lose oZone!
Why take part in a Benevohunt?
Points mean prizes for your charity!
The teams will race their rivals and face challenges to win o3e’s Charity CryptoCurrency oZone through a smartphone app.
The cryptocurrency will be exchanged for items that the charity needs, normally through care packages for charities such as Women’s Aid, Action for Children and Teens Unite.
Once the team’s time is up they will proceed to a rendezvous at a local bar, restaurant or hotel. There they will be met by the charity who will be delighted to receive the team’s winnings!

What's the group size for Benevohunt?
Benevohunt works best with at least 2 teams of up to 8 people. From there, the sky's the limit - we can work with groups of 1000+!
Where does Benevohunt take place?
We'll bring our o3e Team Leader to your location, whether you've taken your team to a new city or you want to explore more of your local area. We're invested in keeping our carbon footprint low, so we have a network of specialist o3e Event Crew across the country. We've held events in the UK, Europe, the USA and beyond!
How do you choose which charity the care packs we win will be donated to?
If you don't already know which charity you'd like to support, we'll give you options for organisations in need, typically in your local area as we feel supporting your own community is important. Our care packs are bespoke based on the charity you'd like to support. We have donated packs to homeless shelters, family refuges, charities who help survivors of domestic violence, children's cancer charities - the options are almost endless. Although we work with big charities, we tend to try to encourage giving donations to smaller charities who don't always receive the same funding as larger organisations.
How long does Benevohunt last?
We can be flexible with timings, depending on your schedule - we've held Benevohunts for anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours! We always think, the longer the better!
What happens after the Benevohunt?
After the hunt, we'll deliver the care packs your teams have won directly to the charity with a donation note for the recipients. Once the recipients have had the donations for a short while, you'll receive feedback you can share with your team to really demonstrate the difference they've made by participating in the event.

We'll then provide a straightforward quote and a summary of the number of care packs you can win. If you choose to go ahead with the event, we'll get the ball rolling with the event set up. We project manage the entire process from start to finish. We'll liaise with you about charity options and organise the event logistics, agenda, event space set-up and charity representative. We can also add bespoke elements to your event, depending on your objectives - for example, you might want to incorporate messaging surrounding your company's mission and vision, values or brand.
