SolarBuddy is a hands on team building experience that combines learning, collaboration and practical action. Participants are introduced to the issue of energy poverty and the impact that limited access to safe, reliable electricity can have on education, health, safety and everyday life.
Working together, teams assemble solar powered devices that will go on to support children and communities living in energy poverty. The activity creates a strong shared sense of purpose, while encouraging teamwork, communication and engagement around global sustainability and social impact.

- The impact
- olarBuddy turns a team building experience into a direct contribution towards tackling energy poverty. The solar solutions assembled during the event are gifted to children and communities with limited or no reliable access to electricity, helping provide a cleaner and safer source of light. Beyond the immediate donation, the experience helps participants understand the wider connection between access to energy, education, health, safety and opportunity. Teams leave knowing that what they have built will continue to create an impact long after the event has finished.
